Family Christmas
What will you be doing for Christmas day. Will you have a house full, or will you be going to family for the day? Any suggestions for games. Charades are a bit old hat.

We will be having a very quiet day. I think Son & Daughter-in-law along with the Grandkids will call round. I have asked him to bring one of their greyhounds so Yvonne can stroke it. Velma is very placid but Lucy is a bit on the bouncy side and may be too much for Yvonne.

Nothing for me this year. Nowhere to go, no one to spend time with.
Doesn't really matter though. It's not the first time and it won't be the last.
I've had the worst cough and cold I've ever had in my life all week. Haven't eaten, so my brother is going shopping for me tomorrow to get some food in for me, so I may not be well enough to enjoy Christmas this year, but I hope you all do.

First Mate:
Thanks, but I'm not much in the mood for jollity at the moment. I'm more like The Grinch right now.

First Mate, I'm truly sorry. I honestly didn't mean to hijack your lovely thread. There's nothing worse than that.
Personally, I used to enjoy board games at Christmas as well, Trivial Pursuit in particular. The game Articulate sounds like an interesting game to me and I've never heard of it before.

Mollie.
Extending my sympathies to you.
You may recall, I posted in November about having a cold. First time in decades, so I guess I can't really complain.
But it really was a stinker. I see online that there is a nasty infection hitting people at this time.
So, best wishes, and hopes for a speedy recovery.
